Australian Animal and Bird Memory Games - 3 Games - Differentiated
This resource is a PDF file of a three different Australian animal memory games.
This resource is three pages long. Each game will need to be photocopied twice to play.
The first game is based on Australian animals and features 20 different pictures (40 cards in total when made up). The second game is based on Australian animals and features 16 different pictures (32 cards in total when made up). The third game is based on Australian birds and features 12 different pictures (24 cards in total when made up).
This resource is great to use when differentiating in your classroom because the games have different numbers of cards to match up. It is easy to cater for students with more learning needs and also to extend your brighter students. You could even combine all three games for a real challenge.

Australian Animals and Birds Puzzles - 4 Different Puzzles
This resource is an eight page PDF document featuring 4 puzzles for students about Australian animals and birds. These puzzles are a fun way of reinforcing learning.
There are 4 different puzzles and 4 answer sheets for teachers. The puzzles would be great to use as an activity to reinforce learning or as a fun homework task. They could even be used as motivational activities for students to work on if they complete other work quickly.
The puzzles are:
Easy Threesy Puzzle - Students have to solve clues, all of which are nine letter words. These words are solved by putting together three letter combinations to solve the puzzle.
Hourglass Puzzle - Students enter the answers to eight clues into an hourglass-shaped puzzle.
Missing Colours Puzzle - Students fill in the missing colours in the names of Australian animals and birds.
Fill-In Puzzle - Using words that relate to Australian animals and birds, students fill in the puzzle sheet so that all of the words fit.

Australian Animal Coverings Sort - Feathers, Fur or Scales - Test
This resource is a PDF file of an Australian animals activity where students have to sort out different types of Australian animals into groups based on what they are covered in: feathers, fur or scales.
This resource is three pages long. The first page provides the table for students to glue the pictures into. The second page contains all of the Australian animal pictures the students need to sort and the third page is an answer sheet for the teacher.

Purposes of Transport Sort - Land, Sea and Air - Classifying - Test
This resource is a PDF file of a transport activity where students have to sort out different types of transport based on what purpose the transport has.
This resource is three pages long. The first page provides the table for students to glue the pictures into. The second page contains all of the transport pictures the students need to sort and the third page is an answer sheet for the teacher. Please note that and teacher answers are only a guide as some transport types fit into more than one category. This activity provides for good discussion in class when students are asked to justify why they placed a certain transport type in a particular category.
